03 jeep cherokee 2.5 crd, cuts out on long a journey its as if it is being starved of fuel. it can happen after going around a round about and when climbing if you try giving too much throttle. short trips 100/150 miles are not a problem.

You could try changeing the fuel filter this may fix the problem If you are getting engine codes like mis fire on cylinders after that you likely will need to replace the fuel pump But for now i would say its probably the filter because its an 03 and and the pump should last longer then 7 years

My 2002 jeeep cherokee 2.7 crd auto keeps blowing asd fuse and fuel cut off fuse happens while driving and engine will not crank afterwards

For the ASD fuse to go out the short will be a wire wick problem, The ASD fuse and the nearest ground is the Oxygen heater ground, it in the wire harness and its touching .I am telling you this because obviously you ll have to get it repaired and I want you to know were the problem will reside at,so this way when you go to a shop your armed and they will know that you know your stuff. My 03 jeep grand cherokee crd cuts out randomely and without warning at any speed. Will restart again and drive away but cant find the problem. Any ideas? The camshaft sensor, fuel pump and gear selector...

hi mate, got the same problem, comes up with a ECU 15 code so they say, its a speed sensor problem !!!!! but i phoned jeep they say our model dont have speed sensors and want £660 for a valve body !!!! way too dear if you ask me, jeep are ripping folk off, at best take for a diagnostic at jeep, get the codes and source the the problem yourself, but its a speed sensor fault, i'm having a garage look to see if i have the sensors, input and output on my box, if not its the valve body

2000 jeep cherokee sport 4.0 dies want idle

This has happened all of a sudden?
It is sounding like it is starving for fuel...

First we will check for bad fuel. A GOOD Gasline Antifreeze can get the impurities and water out of the Gas. Get a bottle and pour the whole thing in the gas tank, bounce the car around to mix it with the fuel. Start it and let it run for a little while so see if it smooths out. If does not help then look at replacing the fuel filter as it may be clogged.
