Do not run engine with red oil light on, it can cause severe damage. Check oil level first. If ok, then check oil pressure with a gauge. If oil is not low, you may have a clogged filter or a borlen oil pump inside the engine.

Oil pump snoise at 1000 rpm

oil pumps are in the sump and run in oil
there is no bearing as such as the shaft and gears are just a close fit in the cast housing which is lubricated by passing oil under pressure
as for a noise, if you can hear it there will be little or no oil pressure
However water pumps bearings regularly fail and you will hear it. mostly a sort of tinny rattling noise or a low grumble.

Following timing belt replacement on 2.4 liter engine there is excessive engine noise/ vibration when accelerating. What might be the cause?

it sounds like your balance shaft is out of position. its timing may have been disturbed during the timing belt installation.

Mitsubishi 3L V6 engine knocking.

The knocking noise has to be a deep knocking noise if its the crank bearings . If the oil is very gooey the oil was never changed properly at the mileage or months as required. Also if the oil is thick as you state it must have 15,000 miles or more on this oil. 10,000 miles the oil will still be thin if never overheated. I suggest this engine be completely disassembled and inspected if you plan to keep it. You will find wear to more to it especially the cam shaft, lifters, rocker arm as so on. for the oil never lubricated the engine enough to save this engine

Outlander is rattling and engine makes rumbling sound

"...makes a rumbling sound." Since you changed the head gasket, I suspect that you did not align the balance shafts correctly. There is a specific and mandatory sequence to setting up the 4G64 timing belts so the lower (oil pump) and upper balance shafts are correctly synced.

Get it wrong and the engine vibrates, often around 2500 rpm and higher.

You will have to set the engine to Top Dead Center, pull the cam covers off again, disconnect the tensioners, remove the belts, and realign the balance shafts correctly.

4.3 vortec engine , engine noise, knocking or tapping on top of engine, not when cold , but starts noise when it heats up, and gets louder as it gets hotter and hotter!!! Sounds like noise is in the center...

The knocking or ticking is going to determine if it is in the top end, lifters, push-rod or rocker arm issue or the bottom end that would include pistons or bearings.
If it is a ticking noise, it will more than likely be a valve train issue.
If a knocking noise, piston or crankshaft related problem.

Attached is a web site that you can listen to a piston slap which is a known issue for your 4.3.
Listen to the noise and see if it sounds similar to your problem. A piston slap will generally sound as though it is coming from the central area of the engine.
Listen to the recording and let me know.

Low oil pressure on 96 toyota 2200cc engine

The oil pump can be changed without pulling the engine.

The impressive looking thing is the balance shaft assembly. These counter-rotating shafts balance out the inherent vibration of the engine. You can remove it, as long as you do not disrupt the gear placements relationship to each other. The balance assembly is set to a specific point.
