The 2nd fan-in front of the radiator has been recalled. had the same problem. had the mechanic run it directly thru a relay to the battery. no more over heating.

Check for current at the blower motor using a test light to ground. If there isn't any, then the blower relay will have to be replaced, or check for a blown fuse.

I have a new Comfort Aire RAD-101. From time to time it would just stop working and then turn back on after a few minutes. Any ideas as to what causes this, A/C is installed in the Caribbean?

my option before it is to late is to remove the cover and clean out the blower as it could have a lot of junk there causing the blower motor to over heat and shut down.

Air not blowing out dash vents

There is a resistor that goes out on the odyssey and pilots for the blower motor. Does it blow on full speed? Is it both front and back that don't work?

A/C blower fan quit working

An intermittent motor is usually caused by deteriation of the motor cummutator or brushes. This will get worse with time, so I would go ahead with the repair. Ask the mechanic to also make sure the system is in good order to avoid a repeat of the early failure. A clogged drain or coolant leak can cause premature blower failure.

Have you tried smacking the blower motor? If it starts running after you hit it, replace it.

Air conditioning works on high level

Replace power module. Its under the hood. In the air duct up against the firewalll. About 12" to the left of the blower motor. Has 2 connectors on top. Its black. May be hard to notice. Probably have to remove cross brace to get at.it. Then remove 3 screws and pull it out. Put in new one. Reattach brace

When the air it on it does not get cold and when the heat is on it does not get hot

This is actualy strange because the heat and a/c are different systems. If someone came to me with this problem first I would ask did it happen at the same time ? Then I would check the Blower Motor & Blower Motor Restistor. Do you feel the air coming out of the dash ? can you still turn it up and down ? If not both a/c and heat are working you just need to replace the blower motor and blower motor resistor. always replace both at the same time each can make each go bad you dont want to put a new blower in there and have the old resistor ruin it in a day.

No air movement in heating system

It can be a little bit of a pain, but fairly simple. The blower motor is usually located on the passenger side, under the dash, and with a few pieces of interior parts taken out from underneath, you should be able to access the blower motor. They have three to four bolts holding them up. Of course you have to unplug the electrical, be sure not to rip them out. Suggestion on fixing it, go the the salvage yard and get one. You can cut the wires off the one at the salvage and put them on your battery terminals, being very careful, to see if it works. Then you can just unplug those wires and put your on back home. I do suggest that you clean the new one out, it should be really simple to do. Hope it helps.
