Passenger side under the winshield in the center of the cyndrilacal looking box there are two hoses runing to the box and two wires in the center of the box you can see the back end of the motor itself it is held on by 4 or 5 bolts you must undo the wires on it and pull it out it might be sticky becouse of the silicone gasket good luck

2004 Dodge Dakota. It keeps blowing the blower fan resistor, and now the blower motor quit. Is there something wrong with the temperature control?

The problem was the motor. Replace the blower motor and resister and it should be fine.

If the blower motor resistor is experiencing repeated failure, the blower motor is likely drawing too much current. Excess current draw from the blower motor will cause the resistor to burn out. The blower motor in your truck has a resistor block with multiple resistor wires.

2003 Dodge Dakota is stuck on defrost, only blowing hot air. A/C will not turn in, mirror defrost will not turn on. Just replaced blower motor resistor to fix fan not coming on. Fan is working.

Where is the heater resistor on a 2005 dodge dakota? Behind glove box?

should be just above the blower motor. You will need to remove the glove box door to gain access.

How do I get to the blower motor for a 1995 dodge Dakota to replace it ?

Bad design on the 1995 Dodge Dakota. The dash has to be removed to replace the blower motor. May want to replace the heater core while the dash is out to keep from having to remove it later for a leaking heater core.

Hi ya, i just inquired about my blower motor, is the relay and switches and everything under the dash or under the hood,

In the Dodge Dakota the blower motor resistor is located under the hood, on the right side firewall.

Dodge Dakota with a complaint of no blower operation. After unplugging the harness connector and removing the two screws, you could remove and examine the resistor coils for damage. The heat and subsequent rust damage are clearly visible in the picture below.
