Service stability system

The service stability system light keeps coming. The car is usually parked, and when I put the car in drive the light comes on. This has been happening quite a bit.

    Ill be driving for a couple of miles when my service stability system light comes on . My check engine light never goes off. Will that have anything to do with it?

    I have the same problem, but my ABS light comes on and a light that says traction control is off comes on

One of the four load stability sensors (one at each wheel suspention arm) has gone awry. Computer diagnostics (Advanced scan tool) will tell you which one. Suggest replace both on front or both on rear (whichever the case)

your vsa is vehicle stability assist that works with the abs system, verify brake calipers for proper functioning, sounds like breaks stick and cant return efficiently after breaking, vsa is a traction control light, if both lights remain on without flashing, those systems are disabled due to a problem, scan vehicle for possible abs sensor malfunction

You don't drive or use any vehicle with a problem
like that, or any check light on your dash
You have a shop check for codes & diagnose the faulty
system & repair

My 2002 cadiliac sts keep flashing diffrent warning lights as i drive
If you can duplicate the problem if the car is parked, I would want to know if the alternator is charging the battery when the battery light comes on and if there are any codes stored in the computer.
Battery voltage dropping below 12 can cause all sorts of electrical problems, and some of the warning lights are connected to each other.

Transmission won't shift out of 1st and service engine light comes on. goes in reverse and park. goes in drive , just will not shift.
Hi Cindy, As the engine check light is coming it is indicating a problem. Have a diagnostic scan carried out and let your technician determine the actual fault. It could be something to do with the state of engine tune or a defective speed sensor, but may also be a problem with the gearbox. Regards John

repaired, any time, any Malfunction Indicator
Light comes on your dash

You have a possible issue with your ABS Braking System
Do not use it until repaired

Stability system The "service stability system" light as well as the ABS and Brake lights have gone on. Is this a major repair? SHould the car serviced by a dealer? this is on a 2000 bonneville ssei.
the service stability light as well as the abs light is all conected to the wheel sensor. To fix it is simple if you kn,w how to do a brake job,it is all conected to the hub assembly. I replaced both front wheel sensors due to that problem. you can by the hub assembly for around 100.00 dollars at auto zone. the wire that connects to the wheel always breaks and these codes come up.
