SOURCE: Chrysler PT Cruiser interior light fuse blown

hi ,
remove pos batt cable 1st
I would start examining the door switches since they are a constantly cycling part, Im not exactly sure how many accessories run off the door switches but I would examine the drivers door switch, study how the switch removes from the door, gently pull switch assembly out, being careful not to yank wires loose. remove it and look for arcing marks or soot, try all the doors, then I would disassemble the dome light itself if you cant find it, if you find the short you should reinsulate with thermoheat wrap heated with a hairdryer and maybe even some extra electric tape.

good luck

SOURCE: 2002 Olds Aurora. All interior lights are out. Found blown fuse.

Your Interior lights share a fuse with alot of other circuits and if I remember correctly the switches are built into the door latches. On some of the models the cigerette lighter is on the same circuit and if your element is bad it can short out, also you could check wiring between doors and body to see if any rubbed thru.

Interior lights and truck lights not working. 2010 Kia Forte how do I know it's not the fuse?

If the interior lights and truck lights are not working in your 2010 Kia Forte, it's possible that the issue is with a blown fuse. Here are a few steps you can take to determine if the problem is with a fuse:
  1. Check the owner's manual: The owner's manual for your Kia Forte will have a diagram of the vehicle's fuse box and information on the location of the fuses for the interior and truck lights.
  2. Locate the fuse box: The fuse box for your Kia Forte is typically located under the dashboard on the driver's side or in the engine compartment.
  3. Check the fuses: Once you have located the fuse box, check to see if any of the fuses for the interior and truck lights are blown. A blown fuse will have a melted or broken wire inside.
  4. Replace the fuse: If you find a blown fuse, you can replace it with a new fuse of the same amperage. You can find replacement fuses at most auto parts stores.
It's also important to keep in mind that a blown fuse is not the only reason why your lights are not working and that there may be other issues that are preventing the lights from working, such as a faulty headlight switch, bad wiring, or a malfunctioning light bulb. If you have checked the fuses and the lights are still not working, it's best to take your vehicle to a qualified mechanic for further diagnosis.
It's also important to note that some of these steps require a certain level of mechanical knowledge and experience. If you're not comfortable with checking these items, it's best to consult a professional mechanic.if i was able to help my cashapp $ralphpapi thank you have a blessing day

How do I fix there are no interior lights 1999 Chevrolet cavalier

If changing the interior light controls to make sure the lights come on (it could be set too low or even turned off~ check your car manual to see how to adjust these settings) you could have a blown fuse. I'd check your manual on your car's fuse box location and then check to see if you have any blown fuses.

No interior or radio lights

Hi Gino-
Assuming the battery is good (you have other accessories operating), look in the fuse box to see if the fuses for these accessories has blown. You can readily see if a fuse is blown if you compare to a working one. You can buy these fuses at any auto supply store.

No radio, no interior light,

Is the clock showing the correct time? If not,the memory was dumped and the clock/radio must be re-coded to work, again.
If the battery light is ON,the main 100 AMP fuse is blown.it won't charge the battery.
Interior light? probably a blown fuse.

No a/c or heat or interior lights-is this a fuse?

The problem seems more generalized. A/C - Heat use a different fuse from Interior lights and they're on different circuits. Check the fuses anyway but before replacing any blown one you must find out cause of the blown out.

I changed the lightbulb on the interior light of my suzuki swift and the screwdriver short circuited the power how do i fix it and find the problem?

Hopefully you have only blown the fuse for the interior light. To locate the fuse which should be in the main fuse box, the position and function of the fuses is normally marked on the inside of the fuse box cover and also in the owner's handbook. If you don't come right with these, work your way through the fuses looking for a blown one. To ease your search the interior light, which may be shared with some other circuits, the fuse it should be around 15 to 20 amps.

Hi Oscar. You've more than likely just blown a fuse. Look in your owners manual or fuse box cover for which fuse is for the dome light. It may be listed as curtesy lamps, interior lamps, map light or something along those lines. Good luck.
