Yes indeed. good battery make good start. also check your starting system.
If the battery just died for no reason, reason being the door was left open too long or a headlight,dashlights were left on or any application on your car was left on then your battery probably just needs to be recharged. If that not the case then it most likey your alternator if that dead then your battery was not being rechared/maintain by the alternator,even if you drove it that drive kill was power your battery had so in that case you will have to replace your alternator
Thanks. I had not driven the jeep for about a month. It's also about 25 degrees today. I started it in the driveway, no problem, then I went to the store. Unfortunately, I left the lights on and it wouldn't start when I came out. I tried to jump start it. Left it connected to another car for about 5 minutes and it wouldn't even turn over when i turned the key. Should I leave the cables connected to the live battery longer before trying to start it??
