How to remove the belts from crankshaft damper on nissan maxima 1996

If you have the older style V-Belts you have to lossen
a couple of the accy's--alternator,power steering pump,
air pump,etc

For a single serpentine belt- you just pull the tension of the
spring loaded belt tensioner

You may have to remove a plastic or rubber splash shield
as well as a tire & work thru the wheel well & over the sub frame

Need help on how to replace a power steering hose

could be air in the system. jack the front end up and block so the front tires are off the ground. start the car and turn the steering wheel slowly all way to the right until it stops then all the way to the left. this may take awhile and make sure you keep an eye on the fluid level. when you get to the point where its not taking anymore fluid remove the blocks and take a ride.

Power steering pump leaking on the bottom side hose, does pump need to be replaced or can the hose just be replaced and how difficult . 1991 nissan maxima.

If the leak is from the pump unit it will need to be replaced,
If the leak is just from the hose it can be replaced.
Identify the definite source of the leak, before proceeding.
A new hose could probably be fitted by DIY if you have the correct tools.
