does this help? look in owners manual for how to turn "on or off" the auto lock feature.
Automatic Door Lock/Unlock
The automatic door unlock function is a vehicle personalization feature with the following 3?programmable modes of operation:
1.
All: All of the doors will automatically unlock.
2.
Driver: The driver's door will automatically unlock.
3.
None: The doors will need to be unlocked by a door switch command or by pressing the the lock button on the RKE transmitter.
The All or Driver modes may also be programmed as to when the automatic door unlocking will occur.
1.
Key Off: The door(s) will unlock when the key is turned off.
2.
Shift to Park: The door(s) will unlock when the vehicle is shifted into P (Park).
The delay lock function may be enabled or disabled. When the function has been disabled, the doors will only lock by a door switch command or by pressing the the lock button on the RKE transmitter. When enabled, the doors will not lock until five seconds after the last door is closed.
if you use the keyless entry to unlock the vehicle & don't open a door within 30 secs.the vehicle will automatically lock & the alarm will reset,if you unlock it with the key this shouldn't happen.....cheers.
Lock then unlock the doors with the power lock button, with all doors closed (key not in ignition). If this doesnt work, try again using the key to lock and unlock from the driver door, with all doors closed.
Easy enough to do. You could identify the fuse that does this, or disconnect the wire from the speedometer, or pull and tape one of the solenoid wires in all of the doors. Depends on which is easiest.
unscrew the screw if there is one i can't remember specifically. take a small screwdriver and go above and below the pivot point of the handle to remove the trim around the door handle then the handle itself should push toward the front of the door and then pull out. then the door lock and handle rods should pop right off
have you got the child lock button pushed down it would have a picture of a window with an "X" on it also have you checked all the fuses in your fuse box
Not an easy fix! The door lock function was designed to lock doors only. you can however, disable this lock feature by simply cutting the light blue automatic door lock signal wire on the 6-wire harness plug connector located on the chime module (In component center).
