I have a 05 Magnum with around 170,000 miles on it. The ABS and ESP lights are on as well as the engine light. The ABS and ESP lights were on for about 4 months and when I slowly went through a 10" pothole driving up in someones driveway the lights went out the next day. 300 miles later the lights came back on.

Have a fault scan done by a reputable shop or auto parts store. Anytime lights come on indicates a fault was tracked by OBII. You should get addressed ASAP when lights come on. Driving 4 mos. could've caused major damage. But in this case I think it was a low voltage issue that triggered lights, regardless, get scanned and address the issue correctly.

I have an 06 Dodge Magnum. ESP/BAS light

Whenever this warning or any other stays on in the dash it id indicating that the systems control module has detected a fault, it then disables the system as long as the light is on. You must now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool and "scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for the problem(s)

I have a 2000 Audi TT Quattro (180). Both my ABS and ESP light were on. I took it to my local garage who replaced a front wheel sensor which eliminated the ABS light. After a 30 mile drive the ESP light...

Check bearing and joint/knuckle on every wheel and even on the drive shafts, if there is lack/knocking, that could cause abs and esp light, because sensor doesnt give right information and ecu only records sensor fault but doesnt say why the infromation is wrong.
They changed the sensor but didnt solve the cause!!!

2008 dodge Magnum esp light is on hit button to turn off won't turn off? Help.....

Do you mean that the light with the car and skid-marks is constantly on? If it is not blinking this means that the ESP in your car is not on. It doesn't mean that it is constantly on. If the stability protection isn't working it's likely a problem associated with your ABS system. The car should run fine without traction control but if you absolutely need it I would suggest taking it into the dealership and having them take a look.

I have a dodge magnum 2006. Recenly the ABS and esp bas lights have come on and the cruise control does not work. Any thoughts?

When the ABS light goes on, it's likely a speed sensor that has gone bad in one of the wheels. Replacement involves changing the hub that contains the abs wheel speed sensor in many cases.

What does this mean on my 2005 dodge magnum warning light "esp bass" and check engine light

the esp stands for electronic stability program, you will need to have the computer scanned for codes, these codes will help in the repair, you may have a bad speed sensor or the check engine light may have shut down the esp, when the engine detects a problem it shuts down the esp because it feels that the esp cant operate correctly when the engine is not running correctly,so the first thing is to scan for the codes, hope this helps, good luck,

My 2002 vw passat esp light comes on when you turn the engine on

Hi Amanda
I have come up against this problem a few times before.
If the ABS. light is NOT on, and its the ESP light only that is on...your problem may well be a faulty Yaw sensor. This unit is fitted to the floor panel under the rear seat...in the centre. Another problem (although not all that common) is a faulty ESP switch. You should have an OBD code reading done to make sure. If a new YAW sensor must be fitted, the car must be driven with a full steering lock in both directions (left and right) at a speed over 20 Km per hour after fitting. If this is not done the light will remain on, even though it will now drive ok.
As for the price of this unit...Here in Ireland it costs around 140 euro. Hopefully its cheaper where you are. So better to have the codes read first.
I hope this is of some help to you.
Good luck with it
John
