1989 jeep yj 4whl drive not working?

what wheel spins, double posted with this one add small fact.
front or rear.???? spins, gee, must i ask this?
you have open axles, right>? and this is normal
it is !
unless you use Lim.S.D. Axles (an option new)
or drag your brakes, creating a virtual Lim_S_D.
Limited slip differentials. (closed axles)
my 2008 wrangler does that, via software and uses ABS to lock a spinning wheel. (drag it)
but i cant drive on ice free pavement, are you, if yes, stop
PT 4wd is not for that. at all
you need full time,or AWD to do that magic.

got open axles? goggle that.

2006 escape AWD, replace front hub bearing

Rather than just the bearing, I suggest a new half shaft as the bearings and ABS tone wheel are already assembled. These Escapes are notorious for cracking the tone wheel setting off a code and then disabling the AWD system. So for a very few dollars more than it would take to disassemble the shaft , install bearings and tone wheel just get a new one.

Urgent need for diagram/schematic 2005 Ford Escape XLS AWD 4 cal.

You talking rear differential? I would check the fluid level. There should be a plug where you can check fluid and add if needed. If you take the plug out and fluid tries to run out, put the plug back in, the fluid level is ok. In the old days, I'd stick the tip of my index finger and bend, If I could touch the fluid, I considered the level to be ok. I believe the spec I saw said about 3/16 below edge of hole was ok.

F150, 4x4, 2005, Replace front wheel brgs.

there are no trick to this, they bolt right up, no press needed, the only tool is a snap ring pliers or just use a couple of picks, heres a diagram of the bearing, also if this truck has vacuum operated 4wd,take caution to remove the three bolts holding diapharm on rear of hub, also dissconect abs sensor, new bearing should come with new sensor, here are a couple of pictures to help.if you have 4wd with vacuum operation check the diaphram whil doing hub baering just hook vac pump to connection then apply vacuum and it will move in and should hold, if 4wd works fine then dont worry about that then, hope this helps,ddc32b1.gif8773598.gif5513d51.gif

Chevy Transmission Diagram

I have a 1998 olds Regency frt whl drive auto trans. Do not know the trans ref like 460 e? or what.
Any how have had a frt growl, vib @ 65 mph, up and down ride at 10mph. New balanced tires replaced lh whl bearing by guess mechanic said th whl brg was ok.
Latest Son checked the drive axles for movement--there is up and dn movement @ shaft into trans end --lh & Rh side also clunkie noise. Trans seal not leaking, yet.
I suspect brgs or a bushing in trans end as it accepts the drive axle. If it the problem is it replaceable after axle removeable??
