The rod bearing cap bolt torque specifications for the 3.0L V6 engine in a 2000 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 with a manual transmission are as follows:
Step 1: Tighten the bolts to 15 foot-pounds of torque.
Step 2: Tighten the bolts to 30 foot-pounds of torque.
Step 3: Tighten the bolts an additional 90 degrees (1/4 turn) using a torque angle gauge.
It's important to follow the torque specifications and sequence in the manufacturer's service manual to ensure proper tightening and prevent damage to the engine.
Yes (low pressure) one sit on the inner frame rail on the driver side under the truck by drivers door.High pressure is in the gas tank, if you are going to replace fuel pump, don't forget fuel filter.
Check your operator's manual. Make sure any and all fuses that have anything to do with the affected items are not blown and are working properly. If you can; check for loose fuse connections or wires. Hope this helps. God bless!
If it's new enough it might be inside the fuel tank, if not then it is probably in between the fuel tank and the engine on the inside of the frame rail underneath the truck on the driver's side. It will be a small round inline filter. The special fittings on the ford are a pain so you may have to buy the tools for that from O'reilly's.
it is located on the passenger side of engine. It is mounted on the
valve cover and a hose runs up to the black air intake housing, it
