Hi there,

Here are some few tips to help out. Firstly, remove the screws retaining the headlight and trim assembly. Then carefully rotate the headlight and trim assembly away from the vehicle, rotating the inboard side away from the vehicle. Remove the side marker, parking and turn signal bulbs and sockets from the headlamp and trim assembly. They can be removed by turning them. If you are replacing a lens, remove the retaining screws for the lens to be changed and remove it from the headlight door.

When removed, install the removed lens assembly. Then, install the bulbs and sockets and install the headlight and trim assembly. Make sure you check the operation of the lights.

Best of luck...

Trouble shoot turn signals 1994 Ford Ranger 2.3 engine

Diane, There are 2 separate flashers on your vehicle, one is for the emergency/4 way lights and one flasher is for the signal lights. It may be worth the couple bucks and replacing the signal flasher as a first step. Recheck bulbs/sockets, fuses/relays, flasher. If all looks good possible signal switch is bad. Remove switch and try to clean contacts or replace switch. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

How do I replace the front turn signal Bulb of a 2001 Ford Ranger

If I remember correctly to change the turn signal bulb you have to go in from the back side. So open the hood, look around because you may have to move some stuff for hand clearance, then it's a 1/2 twist to get the bulb socket out. install is the reverse of getting it out.

1993 ford ranger. when you turn on left turn signal front light burns steady and back light does't burn. tested for power and had power. bulb is good. right side works fine.

Although you say you tested it for power, and the bulb is good, I am almost certain it you change the bulb it will work. The one at the back. Take the one from the right side and try it in the left. Then you'll know. If there is still nothing and your test light shows power, it has to be a bad ground wire. If you have an aftermarket trailer plug on that thing, that will be another place to look.

Change front turn signal

The side marker light must be removed in order to get at the turn signal light.
There are two screws holding the side marker light which is situated above the turn signal.
Open the hood.
Remove the phillips head screw at the top of the side marker light.
Using a long #2 Phillips screwdriver, remove the screw on the outside of the side marker light. This can be seen by looking between the lower side of the side marker light and the top side of the turn signal.
The side marker can be moved.
The turn signal has one screw on the top of the fixture that must be removed.
Slide out the turn signal fixture. There is a small feature on the lower front corner of the turn signal fixture that you must note to properly reinstall the turn signal.
In order to get to the bulb, rotate the bulb socket 1/4 turn CW or CCW. The bulb socket is loose.
The bulb is simply pressed into the socket.
Not sure of the type, but it can be found at your locale auto parts store.
The bulb is used in several places on the 1994 GC, so get apacket with two, if possible.
Assembly in reverse. Be careful not to overtighten the screws as they are replaced.

Signal lights

Do u have plug in style bulb, or push in and twists type? Whichever it is, did u check for corrosion where the bulb makes contact? If it's white, powdery, etc, it might not be making contact, and it won't work. Clean up any corrosion, and get a small packet of 'dielectric grease' , put a dab on the contact area, this will prevent future corrosion. Do u have a blinking side marker light? If u do check that also. Let me know what u find. good luck! countrycurt0
