I have a Ford Fusion 2008. In the last little whileWhen I brake I hear a heavy grinding sound. I don't hear it unless I turn the radio off and the heat down. It almost sounds like it's lagging. What would the cost be to get this fixed?

Sounds like your brake pads are worn out depending ondamage to the brake rotors will depend on the cost. if you are lucky you will have to only replace the pads. if the discs are gouged out then you will have to either machine them flat again or buy new rotors also.

I had the same problem at 66,000 miles. My husband started to replace the brake pads, but found that the wheel bearing was worn out due to the front axle nut not being torqued at the factory when the car was assembled.

How to overide limp mode in 2006 ford fusion

put the key in the ignition, and turn it so the lights and everything come on, do not start the engine, then pump the brakes 3 times, turn it off, and then start the engine. This worked for my 2008 for fusion. (if the brakes don't work, try the gas 3 times make sure the engine is off and the car is in park)
Best of luck!

some use a brake bleeder pump that sucks the fluid through the line its every likely. Is it a ford dealer? or is it a small car dealer?? if its a ford dealer I would think they have all the tools and probably forgot about your car. if its a small car lot then I would say yes.

Transmission issue

Turning lock to lock sitting still will not hurt anything unless you do it lots of times. I would be careful taking advice from anyone who tells you otherwise.
