I have a 2002 V6 Camry LE. Not sure when it happened. I found out that the 12V/120W sockets (known as cigarette lighter) have no power.
I changed the 15A fuse already, and still no power.
Is there another fuse controlling these sockets (one under the radio and one inside the arm rest compartment?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated?
Cell phone chargers commonly blow the fuses at the power points. It seems that our charger adaptors do not match the socket properly, and the positive part of the charger hits the negative of the socket, resulting in a blown fuse. If you have a charger, and it works, leave it in the socket. Don't take it with you. Repeated insertions of the adaptor to the socket magnifies this issue.
I have a 2001 V4 Camry. Not sure when it happened. I found out that the sockets (known as cigarette lighter) have no power.

After further troubleshooting, another fuse also controls these 12V/120W sockets. It is labeled as Power Point A fuse located at the top row, the most right hand side fuse.
I replaced the fuse (15A) and all 12V/120W sockets now have power.
Thanks. That was the problem for me, too.
2006 Toyota Rav4 -- No power to either Power Outlet (Cigarette Lighter)
The cigarette lighter in my 95 Camry (US) stopped working. The fuse is good, and the radio works. What is the next step in finding the reason?
I have a Toyota Camery 2004 and the 2 12V power outlets have no power. I pulled out the fuse "CIG" and it is good. Thanks to Brian Wong's note, I learnt there is 2nd fuse and I pulled that one out, it was blown. It is replaced now.
i changes the fuse for the cig/aux, and neither socket is getting power.
what's next?
