SOURCE: low beams not working on 2007 dodge ram 1500
a possibility is the multifunction switch or the tipm being bad. check the wt/lg wire in the left headlamp assembly and the wt/tan wire in the right assembly for power
SOURCE: left low beam is out on my 2006 dodge ram 1500 4.7
I'd still vote for the bulb being bad. The high and low beams use two different filaments, so unless the bulb is physically broken, it is common for the low beam to be bad whilst the high beam is good.
That's why you see some people driving around with their high beams on -- they don't want to get stopped for a 'light out' citation..
When you take the bulb out to replace it, be sure to look at how it is mounted before removing. You don't want to accidently adjust your headling out of kilter.
good luck
SOURCE: headlights not working
check fuses in under hood fuse box let me know i will at some diagrams for you hey vote for me ok
SOURCE: Have a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 i have high beams
on rare occasions I have seen both low beams burn out I would buy one new bulb and replace either one in the truck if the low beam works with the new bulb then replace the other one as well if the low beam still does not work then replace the headlight switch also check to see if the headlight switch recall was done on that particular truck or if it was under that recall, they had a problem with some of the ram trucks burning up headlight switches but I would check to see if yours might have been one of them there is a wiring upgrade that they will put in at the headlight switch that will cure that, like I said though check to be sure first yours might have not been one of them.
SOURCE: On my `06 Dodge Ram
You probably have a bad plug or a broken wire on the low beam of the left side. I would replace the plug for the bulb and run a wire from the low beam on the right side or , locate and bypass the bad section of wire going to the current plug if the plug is still good.
HEADLIGHTS NOT WORKING
It
can be faulty headlight switch or issue with its wiring. Or its faulty head
light fuse.
