Hi, I have a 1997 Suzuki Swift 1.3L 4 Cylinder carburated. Problem is that the engine is running high when coming to a stop and needs abous 10s to idle normally, also have power loss a bit. I checked timing, distributor contacts and air filter + spark plugs, all new . Any idea ? Harry

some countries dont have your engine ,so is skipped.

are bolted on after a full RTV silicon gasket squirted on .

Check for vacuum leaks. WIth the engine running, wiggle all hoses around and listen for a hissing sound. Look for a cracked broken or loose hose.

the catalytic converter maybe pluged .

cannot be specific, had a 98 (now a 99). remember they fire twice- compression and exhaust. if you don't get and answer soon, look up firing order and everyother one should fire together, limiting combinations to two. It doesn't care what stroke it is on
