This is a very involved repair and to discribe would take more word than this allows me to post, the entire top of the engine will have to be removed, everthing, it is a job best left to professional repair shops, in fact I only recommend the dealer. This is a very involved repair and to discribe would take more word than this allows me to post, the entire top of the engine will have to be removed, everthing, it is a job best left to professional repair shops, in fact I only recommend the dealer.

Here's a link for different year but same basic idea. This is for intake manifold, (when on the page scroll down to 3.0L) just to let you know what your getting into. Once the intake is off, removing the head is pretty basic as long as you've done some of that type of work in the past.If you decide to try it, get back to us for hints etc, if you run into trouble.

Head Gasket is bad. That is engine water steam coming out of the vents. The head gasket, which is a fibre gasket on the engines
cylinder head. Don't be doing much driving with this condition!
The only "pink" fluids are:
1. Transmission fluid
2. Power steering fluid
3. Some types of washer fluid (rare)
4. Some types of AntiFreeze-Coolant are red, although most (80%) are lime or yellow/green.
The most common fluid leak from the head is coolant and is usually form a gasket leak. You say heads as in plural, which I take to mean a V6 engine. But since having both head having a leaking gasket is remote I assume that there was a typo and you are referring to one head.
Are you loosing fluid from the radiator and/or having overheating problem, then suspect the head gasket, It is a major repair.
Post comment with additional info, ie exact location of fluid and how much. Is it leaking to the floor? When does it leak the most, standing cold or engine running hot? Doesthe fluid feel oily or more just like water?

IT'S ON THE END OF THE TOP RADIATOR HOSE WHERE IT CONNECTS TO THE ENGINE. SHOULD BE 2-3 BOLTS GET NEW THERMOSTAT FIRST SHOULD COME W/GASKET. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO POSITION OF OLD THERMOSTAT SO YOU DON'T PUT NEW ONE IN UPSIDE DOWN.
GOOD LUCK
I repair mine last summer, It is on the exast port, left. You have a tube attach to it, going in the Head Cover. Easy to change. it cost me $105.00CND at the dealer
