Take it to any oil change place and they will pull the electrical cover on the drivers side (door has to be opened before they can get at the fuse panel) its a simple thing to reset but I cant remember how long or how many times you have to push one of the pins in. they wont charge you anything for this info...

SOURCE: how do you change the license plate light bulb
OK>>> it is very cold here, but nonetheless..I went outside to check on my Oldsmobile for your benefit....On mine (I can't guarantee it is the same for all of the vehicles listed above). If you are looking at the license plate, LOOK UP and you should see the bulb and whatever encasing is there. Mine is in a tube and it is attached with (2) mini bolts that will need to come out first, then it just looks like a simple matter of disconnecting the electrical plug, taking out the old bulb and putting the new one in. I hope this helps someone....

Thanx for the rapid response.
I change my oil and the oil change light remains on. I was told that there is a code you have to do to make the light go off.
if you have a roll of tape handy 'duct or electrical', tear off about one (1) inch and place it over the light. If tape is not available chewing gum will suffice. On the plare light just clean the connector out
