Its a 1989 nissan 240sx its out of fluid on the clutch resivor. will adding fluid bring the pedal back to operating?

If with brakes, your fluid is low, this is usually an indication you need to replace the pads/shoes or you have another problem, possibly a leak, the same goes for hydralic clutch systems. You should never have to add brake or clutch fluid.

You can add fluid the the clutch master cylinder but if it is completely empty you will probably need to bleed the slave cylinder. You need to check for any leaks and also you might be on the verge of a clutch replacement. I cant see the car so I am giving you general info.

Clutch reservoir is dry on my daughters 96 Eagle Talon the car will not go into any gear. How do I flush the reservoir? If I add oil could this solve the problem

Do not put oil in this system. It uses brake fluid in the reservoir. If the system doesn't have any fluid in it, there is a leak, and both the clutch master cyl and the clutch slave should be replaced. They both were used the same amount of times, and wear evenly. When you add fluid, the clutch master cyl compresses the fluid down the line/hose into the clutch slave cyl. This depresses the clutch fork/arm and disengages the clutch disc so the input shaft into the transmission stops moving, allowing the trans to be put into gear. LOOK FOR THE FLUID LEAKING TO ISOLATE THE PROBLEM. This is a closed system, and the fluid never gets used, unless there is a leak.

Im having to add fluid to clutch every other day but dont see a leak under jeep where is the fluid going

Look under the clutch master cylinder or if you have to loosen it and look behind it, if it's wet, the seal is leaking.
