Denise, the relays are under the hood. They're in an electrical box of their own. The car owner's manual will tell you which one it is.However,I've found the problem is usually a fuse that's under the dash.
Click on the link. I looked at turn signal wiring. Check fuse 15--20 amp under hood fuse box. Not only check the fuse, use a testlight and check fuse circuit for voltage, hot all the time. At the combo flasher, there is also, ignition/run voltage, goes hot with the key on, you can see wire color.
There could be other issues. As you can see, turn signal switch is part of ground circuit.
I could post whole diagram on one link, but, too small to read. Usually with multiple issues, I just pick one and check it out. Fixing one issue may or may not fix the others?
Get the turn signal switch, and fuses in the fuse box inspected. There are two fuse box one under dash and other under hood.--------
Also to check if its a power issue, just check the voltage at switch, the turn signal switch and head light switch.Should give you 12 volts at the terminals with ignition on.If there is no voltage then problem is faulty switch or fuse.First inspect the fuse, you will have to remove and check the fuses manually and inspect if any of then is got short and causing this.-----------
This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.
mine arent working either... EXACT same car lol... check fuses.. all of them.. in car under dash and under hood.. there are 2 fuse boxes under hood for a total of 3 fuse boxes... ive replaced all my fuses and mine still dont work.. if all else fails replace headlight switch.. ive done all that and mine still dont work lol lets hope your not in my situation lol.. i have a short somewhere and my park lights short out when i hit the brakes... anything you find out please let me know as to help with my car lol.. thank you..
sure check the fuses first either in the glove box under the dash on the side of the dash or under the hood labeled "fuse"as well most everything these days runs the lights and wipers through the turn-signal wiper arm but check these areas first then see if any change was discovered .....let me know otherwise we will dig a bit deeper into other possible issues
Take a Good Flashlight and shine it Behind the Fuses in the Fuse Panel inside the Car and see if any are Blown. Then check the Fuse Relay Box under the Hood the Same way. If all Fuses are Ok, Then locate a Relay for the Wipers and Turn Signals (They will be Seperate). If located , Replace these, If not Located, Let me know so that I can Help you. Let me Know! All the relays for the wipers are on the motor under that black cover. could be the multifunction lever switch on the left hand side of the steering collumn is bad, the yellow wire would break and no wiper operation. you can remove the little cover behind the turn signal lever and check the wiring(especially the yellow one). also try pushing on the wiper motor cover to see if it comes on. if not try probing a test light in the back of the connector on the motor while hooked to ground and this should trigger the motor to come on in different speeds if the key is on.
Good luck
