The front engine cover located on the underside of the front of engine can be replaced as a used part.check your local used parts places.it doe not have to be new as it only protects the engine from water, ice, snow. from going into or onto your engine, but without it,you may have a water problem that this cover prevents. suggest you call used part suppliers in your area ffor a replacement. the replacement is easy,if you are mechanically inclined,if not suggest you ask parts place to recommend at least 2 places and get an estimate of replacement of the part,if you supply the part.hope this helps and thank you for choosing fixya.com

The sixth generation featured updated styling although less radical than previous redesigns. Suspension and engine options were available along with their first Natural Gas Powered Civic, the GX. From 1996-2000 the Civic was sold under the CX, DX, EX, EXR, HX, LX, and for Canada, SE, and Si trims; all base models were made with 1.6L engines. The EX-CX are all SOHC (Honda D engine). The CX, DX, and LX all have D16y7 non-VTEC engines; whereas the EX has a D16y8 VTEC, and the HX has D16y5 VTEC-E. The USDM Si and Canadian SiR came with a DOHC (B16A2 VTEC). The first civic SI coupe EM1 was introduced in 1999 until 2000. Europe saw a DOHC 1.6 VTI hatch and sedan and a DOHC 1.8VTI engine was available for the Domani related five-door liftback and estate..

Where i can find the starter for honda civic dx 2008?

The starter should be located on the left side of the engine. That is the side nearest the front of the car. Typically the transaxle spans a portion of the right side of the engine. You may also find related info on tha Autozone website. Enter your vehicle info then go to "view job diagram" on the right side of the page.

Where is the coolant drain plug on the engine block on a 1991 Civic DX?

Under the front of the car are two plastic covers to keep dirt from getting up into the engine compartment. Remove the one on the passenger side. The coolant drain plug is on that bottom corner of the radiator. It looks like a wing-nut. Please be gentle because it is just plastic and can easily brake.
