you need to check wiring between lf door and body..peel back rubber boot and pull on wires..you will find 1 or more broken wires..can be repaired

Not a solution for the problem exactly but to the person who pulled his fuse for the dome lamps, all you need to do is turn the interior lights off at the turn signal switch next time. I'm going to have my wiring repaired tomorrow. Thanks for the info.
SOURCE: I have 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and it is leaking coolant
Front drivers side could be a bad cap, lower hose or the radiator itself. You need to look carefully and find the leak source. Steam travels and isn't a good indication of where the actual leak is coolant will run down and take any path it can to reach the ground. Therefore, you need to follow it back to where it is coming from, then deal with it. Your water pump can also leak and run down the lower hose. there is a small hole in the pump behind the pulley. If you see coolant coming from there the pump needs to be replaced. Sealers will not work on hoses or pump leaks so don't bother using them for that.
Good luck...don't forget this is free, so rate answers!

sounds like an open power or ground circuit on passenger side, since the door lock and the window, lost its functioning. Both switches would have to be bad at the same time, which is not probable, to be the fault. Unless there is a saftey lock out switch on the drivers panel, controling the passenger side door lock and window.

1999 drivers side power window not working. was hoping for some input before I tore the door apart......
On my 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee all the electrics on the drivers door ( powered mirrors, powered windows for all doors, central locking) have stopped working and the door light will not go off. If I lock the car with the remote all the doors lock except for the drivers door.
I have checked all the fuses and power board and look ok, I have also checked the multi plugs behind the drivers door panel and they are all connected.
I too have a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the driver's side door panel won't work. Very frustrating with no fuses associated to this!
