My dome lights - the one that comes on when you open the door, and back up lights quit working can not find a fuse for the back up lights, the courtesy fuses all appear good, any ideas?

Have a Surban that did the same thing .. problem was the wiring harness for a trailor if your vehicle is equiped with it.

check the wiring under the carpet and to turn off the day time running lights just pull the drl fuse

Check for 40 amp fuse in vehicle but most likely under hood.

It almost sounds like a fusable link,check them you will find them somehere on the fender or the intake mainfold,when you find them if one is bad it will be very soft in the middle cut it out and reolace it.
