If all the lug nuts are removed and the tire will not come off it is frozen onto the hub. This is really common with aluminum wheels. If you can safely support the vehicle so that it will not fall off the jack you can try kicking the backside of the tire. This will work most of the time.

If that doesn't work put the lug nuts on till there just snug and then loosen them 3 or 4 turns. remove the jack and drive the vehicle back and forth until the wheel falls off the hub.

Everyone I work with as well as myself, have at least a four pound plastic deadblow hammer just to remove the wheels that this happens to.

This happened to a person outside my house last night (2/25/11) on a Jaguar X type 2005 with original aluminum wheels. Four guys standing around feeling very non-manly not being able to take a wheel off a hub. I asked God to help us and he put it in my head to go google the problem. Found this on the third page. We put the lug nuts on loose brought the jack down with the weight on the wheel. We backed up and went forwards about 20 yards in an S pattern. We did that until we could see a wobble on the wheel (not rolling straight). Once we saw the wobble we jacked up the car and the wheel came off easily. We all collected our Man points and went to bed. Thank you for the solution!

You have to be more specific about why you cant remove the tire whats keeping you from removing it once the lug nuts are removed?

If your jag is right drive it is located passenger side
Left hand drive is located drivers side
Filters can not be interchanged
Your parts shops must have LHD filters
Check internet for prices, also phone local dealer to compare prices

2003 x-type sport suspension is chewing up inside of rear tires what can i do? already replaced shocks, swaybar links & bushings

Your best bet is to break down and go to a good repair shop for a 4 wheel alignment. Most shops give a flat rate on alignments which means you will pay one price regardless of time it takes. Most modern cars have alignment adlustments on the rear suspension as well as front. Also certain vehicles are very sensitive to tire rotations.Make sure you don't exceed manufactures mile recomendations on rotations.Having it done at the proper times can in some cases double tire life.
