I have a 1993 Lincoln Town Car Executive Series and the air rise suspension stop working. How can I fix it and where is the computer module located on my car??
I went to auto zone and bought coil springs for my 93 town car went home jacked it up disconnected the air bags pulled them out put springs in let it down and was driving in less than 45 minutes. at a cost less than $200.
My brother in law replaced the air springs on my '94 town car with rear coil springs from a '92 crown vic. He raised the rear tires off the ground and put jack stands on the frame for safety on both sides. Then disconnected the shocks at the lower end and removed the air springs.removed rear tires and used a piece of 2x4 to pry axle down to provide clearance to put coil springs in place. then hooked shocks back up and it worked fine. the only way the coil springs could come out is if the car was upside down and then who cares. This project only cost $ 25.00 Real cheap being we were broke!
I would recommend going to strutmasters.com and taking a look at our conversion kits. these convert you from the airbag to a powder coated American made steel coil spring that is guaranteed to last the life of the car. Airbags and compressors are constantly having to be replaced. Also something alot of people don't know is that theses air suspensions are not meant to be in temperatures above 90 Degrees or below 40 Degrees. That is most of the world. The temperature will cause you to replace alot of bags. and typically when your replacing a bag you are going to have to replace the compressor to because the bag had a hole or small crack in it causing the compressor to over work and it will die. I posted the link below so you can take a look:

I hope I was of some help
Good Luck!!!!

Does the compressor run when you turn on the key? If not check the switch in the trunk, the one you should turn off when jacking up the car. Does the compressor run all the time? Check the air bags on the suspension and search for leaks. I can't help you with the computer question.
