if they all stopped at once look at the larger fuses under the hood then the ignition switch

There is a small plastic gear inside the speedometer that turns the odometer, it's broken. It can be replaced, but requires you to remove the speedometer from the dash to tear it apart. Your best bet for finding another gear would be from a truck at the junkyard.

check wiring between VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) on transmission and the harness.
Does the odometer work? If so, it's the gauge that is bad.

I am having the same problem. I replaced the speed sensor on the rear diff. and the problem went away but when i started it the next day the problem came back. If you figure it out let me know.

Most likely you have a check engine light on also. And if you have codes pulled it will be 0500, speed sensor. Replace the one on the rear axle and all should be good. Oh and don,t forget to have code cleared.
