This is most likely your crank position sensor.... it sits behind your harmonic balancer and tells the PCM what position the crank shaft is at at all times. These sensors aare around 30 dollars at a local parts shop but you will need a pulley puller and a good impact wrench to remove the balancer

1997 subaru Impreza sport won't stay running . stalls after minute replaced Fuel pump, filter spark plugs wires ,cleaned injectors checked fuel pressure what next

check your grounds. I find many easy fixes by cleaning all the grounds around the engine bay. I would also check the ground at the fuel pump connector that wiring is prone to corrosion and breakage

98 sunfire with starting problem, only has 89000 kms, changed battery, had starter checked, only seems to have a problem when car has sat for more than 3 hrs

This could indicate a weak fuel pump or clogged pump strainer. I would start by replacing the fuel filter since this should be done every two years. The fuel pressure bleeds off after some time so the pump has to try to build the pressure back up on a cold start. This is the cheapest and easiest fix to try first.

Car will run and then some time later stalls, then starts rught up and then a little bit later stalls, did this 5 times today and finally wouldn't start when the engine got hot (actually just hotter) seems...

You have a lot to check. Start by scanning the engine codes. There's good chance it will tell you where to look next.
The symptoms sound like fuel delivery (assuming the engine runs well when it runs). Put a fuel pressure gage on the car and verify that you are getting a constant and good pressure. Could be fuel pump, blocked lines, bad fuel regulator, or an intermittent electrical problem. I had a situation like this where the car would run fine and then just cutout or not start. Turned out to be a loose connection to the fuel pump. Easy fix. Very hard to find.

Just replaced fuel pump on my 98 c1500,now it stalls

Though they are more expensive, I only use dealer pumps. With so much "outsourcing" to foreign counties there is little or no quality control, especially in aftermarket parts...Dealer stuff is still slightly better and therefore a bit more reliable. It sounds a lot like your pump is getting hot and binding and is likely defective. You can test fuel pressure to verify this or just replace the pump. Doing this by "remote control", it's possible that I'm wrong...that's why testing is important.

1992 pontiac boneville, keeps stalling

Have you chg.fuel filter and had a fuel pressure test done? Does it have spark after it stalls? Fuel pumps are a common problem, they work when cold get warmed up they quit, after a while quit all together. Do the fuel pressure test.
