The 98 Bravada has the factory security system that will cause the fuel pump to not engage (in case someone tries to steal it). I have also had this problem. Try turning the alarm on then off again and see if that solves the issue. That will get you by until you can have someone fix it ;)

car keeps cutting out and then stalling. won't start or anything. have had car supposedly fixed. It will be fine for awahile and then it happens again. same old thing. Help!!
Is the fuel filter clogged? Does the fuel pump turn on (assuming it is fuel injected)?
