Battery has gone flat. Had the same problem a couple of times. Using jump start cables to get power from another car did not help. A portable jump start power station got the engine running again.

Check the condition of your battery. You may have a battery going bad. The 300, Sebring, Intrepid, and most of the intermediate sized Chrysler cars do wierd stuff like the dash lights going crazy. Try jump starting it.

Also check the condition of the negative and positive battery cable ends and check for corrosion on the battery posts.

Changed the battery from my 07 saturn sky now the car wont start all the lights are in the dash board but just wont start

If the anti theft indicator remains on when you turn the key to the on position then you'll need to reset.

To reset the system, get in the car and shut the door. Turn the key on to the "Run" position without cranking the engine. Leave in run position exactly 10 minutes. Turn the key to the off position without removing it and back to "Run" for 10 more minutes. Turn the key off again and back to "Run" for 10 minutes a third. Turn the key off and then attempt to start the engine.

My battery ran down on my 2005 Cadillac CTS because of non-use, sitting in my garage. I charged it up and it tests ok, but the car wont start and the lock out light is on the dash. If the battery is good...

A loss of power triggers the Anti theft feature on you car. In some cases, if you lock the drivers door and unlock it with the key, you can reset or rearm the system.

Another method is to turn the key to the On position and leave it there 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, turn the key to attempt to start the car. If these 2 methods don't work, you may need to tow it to the dealer to have the Security reset.

Security light blinks when key is turned to on and will not start, also is the key supposed to be coded? 2003 saturn vue 2.2

Ok to learn the key you have to do what is call 10 minute learn , turn the key to start in attempt to start the car without turning the key off after you do this leave the key on for 10 minute until light goes out, After the security light goes out turn key off for a second or two and then try to start. If you have a new key you have to do a 30 minute learn you have to do the same thing as you did for the 10 minute learn but 3 time try and start without turning key off wait 10 minutes until security goes out then try and start again and leave key on, after you do this 3 time (30 minutes) the 3rd time is where you turn the key of for a second or two before starting.

Car won't start when I turn the key to start the #10 fuse engine relay pops I checked every thing down to the fuel pump and every thing is fine the few times I got it started I took it around the block and...

I had a similar problem where the battery was ok but there was no sound from the starter and also there no lights on in the dash when the key was turned. Checked the fuse and checked wire from the fuse back to the ignition switch. The wire from the fuse was ok in fuse box but had no voltage at the ignition sw. The was also no voltage to terminal 30 in the starter relay. Ran a new wire from the fuse to the ignition and it fixed everything. Check for voltage at terminal 30 on the starter relay

2001 chevy blazer turns over but wont run. new fuel pump, new fuel filter, door switch ok,have gas and pressure at manifold, have spark, runs for a second with the help of starting fluid

Try to do the crank relearn:
Ensure that your battery is fully charged before attempting the relearn procedure. Do not leave any battery charger or jumper cables attached to the battery. Close the hood completely. Some applications require that the doors remain closed during the procedure.

1. Rotate the key to the start position to attempt to start the vehicle (the vehicle will not start).
Allow the key to return to the all position (same as if the vehicle would have started). The theft system light will flash (or stay lit) on the dash for approximately 10 minutes.
2. When the theft system telltale stops flashing (or turns oft) turn the key to the off position for 5 seconds and then attempt tostart the vehicle. The vehicle should start on this cycle.
3. Once the vehicle is running, the password relearn is complete.

4. Repeat steps 1 through 3 two more times for a total of 3 cycles/30 minutes.
5. On the next cycle of turning the ignition key from off to crank the vehicle should start
6. Once the vehicle is running, the password is learned and this completes the cycle.
7. Clear any DTC's with a scan tool if necessary. DTC history will be cleared after 100 ignition cycles.

2000 pont. g/p int. start/stall. replaced theft module twice,comp., ig.swicht,keys,P1629

THIS SYSTEM REQUIRES A REPROGRAMMING PROCEDURE AFTER COMPONENT REPLACEMENT. THERE IS A MANUAL RELEARN YOU CAN TRY BEFORE HAVING TO TAKE IT TO THE DEALER FOR REPROGRAMMING. THE RELEARN IS AS FOLLOWS: DIS-CONNECT BATTERY FOR 5 MINUTES. RECONNECT BATTERY,TURN KEY ON BUT DO NOT START!! WAIT APPROX. 20 MINUTES OR WAIT UNTIL THEFT LIGHT GOES OFF. TURN KEY TO OFF FOR 5 SECONDS THEN ATTEMPT TO START. IF IT STILL WONT START LEAVE KEY IN RUN POSITION FOR AN ADDITIONAL 20 MINUTES OR UNTIL THEFT LIGHT GOES OUT THEN ATTEMPT START AGAIN. MAKE SURE BATTERY IS FULLY CHARGED!!! IF THIS DOESNT WORK IT WILL HAVE TO GO TO DEALERSHIP FOR REPROGRAMMING WITH TECH 2 SCANNER.

Engine wont start

Try this: attempt to start car. Leave key in "on" position for 10 minutes. Turn key off for 30 seconds. Attempt to start car. Leave key in "on" position for 10 minutes. Turn key off for 30 seconds. Attempt to start car. Leave key in "on" position for 10 minutes. Turn key off for 30 seconds. This lengthy proceedure is the pass-lock relearn. Should crank after this unless something is unplugged, body control module is bad, or other security issue.
