It looks like engine misfire cause by sparks loss from spark plugs wire even if they are new
Is spark plug gap is adjust at the right gap each of them
And change the rotor and cleans where it spark inside the distributor cap. Look for cracks inside the cap if so change it.

Little test . Take a bottle with spray nozzle, fill with water and 2 spoon of salt. Spray engine spark plug wires but be gentle with the amount of spray and looks for sparks while engine running. This is many misfire as you can see.
Solution put dieclectric grease into wire at the spark plug wire ends or you bought cheap wire set

Hope it helps

SOURCE: I Have a 2002 blazer that starts but motor dies, surges when accelerating

If this engine is a VORTEC then you may have a problem with the internal fuel system. Under the top plenum there is a fuel reg and poppet valves that inject fuel into the cylinders. Sometimes the tubes that run fuel from the reg to the valves can leak and cause your problem. This cannot be found with pressure check because this occurrs after the reg. PS fuel mileage will go down. Let me know if this helps.Moe

sounds like youve really done your home work all that comes to mind now is try a cam posistion sensor this would keep your car from starting as well if that is good you can aslo try a crank sensor. you will get all of the readings that you are getting and these sensors can still be bad.

Possibly an idle air control motor. The iac is on the throttle body. You my just need to clean it and the throttle body with carb cleaner . Good luck!

Hi, 1997 monte carlo that idles, but cuts out when put in gear, or at times while driving. 3.1 engine. 184,000 mi.

I don't have an answer for you, but I do have a similar or maybe even the same issue with mine. It usually starts up fine, and idles and runs fine when first started, however a few blocks or a few miles down the road it starts to cut out on me, sometimes dying completely... throwing it into neutral and pumping the gas usually will keep it running. This has gone on for a couple of months. When it does die, It normally will restart after sitting for a few minutes. Then a couple of weeks ago it died on me (normally this happens when slowing down and coming to a stop,) and would not restart even after a 1/2 hr, I had to have it towed. I periodically attempted to start it for over a week, it would turn over, but nothing more...then someone suggested that I disconnect the auto start box...It started right up. However, it still continues to cut out when slowing or stopping unless thrown into neutral and pumping the gas. It seems to run better on the open highway, than it does in town with all the slower speed and stop n go. I bought this car used about 6 mos. ago, and considering it's age and the 135K miles on it, I don't want to put any more money into it. I just read there is a recall on this vehicle for the fuel pump and additionally the fuel assembly, I'm not sure if this would be the answer to the whole problem or not.

Various sensor issues, car just won't seem to ever run quite right.

check the coolant tempature sensor it is going to be located on the block. this sensor will make it not want to start without the pedal pushed and it will make the engine shutter alittle. this sensor tells the computer what tempature the engine is at and when to idle down or up with the tempature.

My car sometimes wont start and when it does it cuts out and dies

Put a voltmeter on battery. It should say something like 12 volts. Start motor and see if you have about 14.5 volts while running. If not your charging system has failed.
