A/C water leak, passenger side Where is the drip pan located?

There seems to be foam insert under the glove box in a shallow compartment but I can't believe that is supposed to handle all the condensation. I didn't have this problem in previous years and I am assuming a drain line is clogged but I haven't had the time to dissassemble under the glove box. If someone knows the solution I would welcome a tip.

I have a similar problem with a 2003 cadillac cts. The water drips from the bottom area of the glove compartment. If you would stick your hand under and feel around, there is a removable panel ( two small bolts and one star screw) there , you will fell the sponge on the other side of the panel is wet. I removed this panel and ran the air conditioner and place a large mirror on the floor and shine a flash light up but did not see any water dripping.
The Driver side has a similar panel, I removed that also but saw nothing, not even the canister. But the out side pipes from the AC show the canister leads in the hood under ther driver side.
Any way I looked under the car and found the drain hose. It is located under the driver seat area. I tried fishing a coat hanger through it and it went a long way up. If you look on the side panel where the parking brake is located you will see this hose going to the top of the hood. You will need to depress the parking brake for a better view. I tried the Ac bot no condensation water came throug.
I late found a similiar hose on the passenger side. I tried to push the wire in but did not get too far.
One of these hoses drain the Sun ( moon) roof.
I then took a cap from a silicone tune ( u know the screw on tip that you cut at 45 degrees) That I inserted into the tube under car, then I insert a small funnel into the silicone cap , next with my garden ready and flowing , I force water up through the AC drain hose. Dont do too long, 5 to 7 secs is good. You will see the water come through the other drain hose. It is best to have some onlookers. Note some water might flow up to the moon roof drain and into the car so place some towel on the seat.
    That works for me.
    Thanks all
    and good luck

The drain is actually located on the drivers side in the transmission tunnel. It can also be located if you pull the carpet up by the gas peddle

I have a 2004 Cadillac CTS it leaks water when it rains. We tlocated all sun roof drain tubes made sure they weren’t clogged and connected we thought we fixed the problem then I poured water around the sunroof and water still came in we had the head liner dropped but still couldn’t see where the water was coming in. I’m thinking it’s the sun roof itself.

2007 500 Limited. What is causing wet carpet on passenger side?

Your AC evaporator drip pan is not draining and the water is overfilling it and leaking out into the passenger compartment. U need to clear the drain line and that will resolve the issue. Use a clothes hanger to "goose it."

What causes water to come in passenger footwell?

Is it fresh water or engine coolant? It may not be coming from the outside of the car. If your heater core has a leak, it may be leaking into the passenger compartment. If this is the case, you also run the risk of running low on engine coolant and overheating or damaging you engine.

What is the problem when I have a coolant leak dripping off of oil pan on a 1993 toyota camry xle v6 on the passenger side.

dripping on the side sounds like a water pump leak but putting a stop leak in might slow the leak down it also plugs up the heater core and that wil cost more to fix than putting off the pump repairs but if you must try using pepper from your dinner table a table spoon or so

I have 2000 dodge ram and its leaking water on my passenger side floor board when i have the ac on . what can this be?

the drain tube for the drip pan under the condenser is plugged up. the drain tube is located outside the fire wall on passenger side of truck. (small black rubber hose). you can take a long plastic tie strap and insert into the hose to clear any trash out of the line without any damage to the hose. hope this will help!

2005 Chrysler Pacifica-Air conditioning leak

The 05/04 Pacifica did not come with an elbow tube on the drain line for the AC drip pan. As you drive, the air flow into the tube pushes the condensate water back into the pan which is inside above the passenger floor board, the drain line is under the hood on the firewall. I spoke with the parts guy at the local Chrysler dealer, he sold me a drain tube for the 06 (~$10) and I installed it, wasn't too hard to do from the top if the engine is cold. The elbow slips on over the drain tube. Make sure to point the tube down. It only took one trip to start seeing water drip out of the tube and the floorboard started to dry up and almost three years later, the floorboard is still dry.

Big coolant leak under passanger side

From your information it sounds like the water pump is bad. The coolant is running down the engine and dripping off of the oil pan.
