{: ) Nothing really special to do, except observe safety precautions, also to protect yourself. You can replace it like any conventonal means.
If you have gas shocks, just be careful not to puncture for it contains high pressure gas. Also don't remove the snap ring from inside the top of the tube.
If the vehicle is equipped with air leveling, there is a certain procedure after replacing the shocks, but a scan tool will be needed.
• Remove the scan tool. • Cycle the ignition OFF, then back ON, with the engine ON to allow the air suspension system to regain the desired rear suspension position. • Turn the ignition ON, with the engine OFF.

What Rear Shock absorbers do you recomend most for a 2002 bonneville SSEi?

Replace them with air shocks. I just bought mine on line for 67 dollars each compared to $100.00 + each anywhere else. Nothing else will fit. Change over kits are very expensive and require special tools to do the job let alone the time it will take to do the job.

Shock or spring

the front suspension on your vehicle will have struts, you should not attempt to replace these without special tools and a hoist. the rear probably has a standard shock, if so, these can be easily replaced but you will still have to support the vehicle on a lift. simply unbolt them from the top and bottom and reinstall the new ones and torque them

How do you install the shocks on a 1994 Chevy Lumina?

This model doesn't have shocks. It damps bouncing with McPherson struts. The front struts can have a new cartridge installed while in place, but it's an involved process. The rear struts have to be removed to replace the struts -- a more involved process that requires some special tools. The struts last a lot longer than shock absorbers, but are not nearly as easy to change when the time comes.

Would like to know if i need any special tools to change the shocks on my 2000 for ranger

Dont believe so. Maybe gear wrenches just to make things a little quicker/easier. Also bring rust penetrant and maybe presoak all nuts a day before. Keep vehicle jacked up under front control arm(for front job) and rear axle when you do rear. This is to keep tension off of the shocks when trying to remove.

Rear shock absorbers in 1997 Olds Regency

No Adjustments. The shocks are just too Soft. Replace them with the Originals From Factory and they will be better. They get softer the longer they are used.

Anything to watch when changing pads and rotors on a 2006 Tucson?

Not really anything special, just if you have rear disc brakes there is a special tool you need to push (rotate) the caliper piston in because of the fact they are special calipers equipped for parking brake function.
