{: ) Nothing really special to do, except observe safety precautions, also to protect yourself. You can replace it like any conventonal means.
If you have gas shocks, just be careful not to puncture for it contains high pressure gas. Also don't remove the snap ring from inside the top of the tube.
If the vehicle is equipped with air leveling, there is a certain procedure after replacing the shocks, but a scan tool will be needed.

Remove the scan tool.
•
Cycle the ignition OFF, then back ON, with the engine ON to allow the air suspension system to regain the desired rear suspension position.

Turn the ignition ON, with the engine OFF.
