I had a problem like this before. There was a bad connection at the heater fan . The connection was loose. Also it could be your heater switch.

Replace fan blower motor, it is beginning to fail, carbon pile brushes in motor are worn or motor stator is worn.

No heat but fan is blowing thermostat is good, what to look for?

Assume this is about the heater , rather than engine temperature generally. I would look to see if the temperature knob causes a change in the heater tap valve. If the heater tap valve operates and you can feel heat either side of it when the engine is warmed up , then you may have a blocked heater core.

Heater turned on. Why is there no heat?

Check the heater tap turns on and there is good water flow through the hoses and heater core ,check that the water temp is at least 85 deg.cel.. could also be the baffle in the heater core broken off.

Why does it take a long time for heater to come on?

The heater works with the hot water of the car radiator, on colder days it takes the water sometime up to 15 minutes to get hot. The heater in the car does not use electric heating etc, the safest form of heating inside the car is done through a fan running over a water heated core.

Mercury mountaineer heat

should have to motors one for the front and one in the back, check the power at the front motor,(test light) both power and ground, if it has power try tapping on the motor with a screwdriver handle, if it starts working, immediately replace the motor as it just might wipe out the module.

Heater troubleshooting

check that the heater flow control (heater tap/ valve) is turning on when selected. Check that the radiator is full at the radiator cap. You may have to pressure bleed the system to eliminate the air trapped in the heater core.

My 2000 Buick Century Custom heater/ac fan stopped working. I can feel a little heat coming through the vents so I think the heater coil and water circulation are okay. But, its cold these days, and I...

it does sound like the heater motor fuse is blown -- but if you check it and it is good ( not blown ) then it could be the heater motor itself or even the heater switch/relay. check all the wires going to the heater motor. -- try and give the motor body a little love tap,, ( this sometimes works ) and tells ya that the motor has a bad conection or the brushes are bad.

Jaguar 2001 s type 4.0 no heat and radiator full

Possible heater valve is stuck. It is located behind the radiator on the fan shrouding. A tap with a blunt object sometimes free's the valve off. If not a new valve may be required
