If you have to remove the PCV to get it to run, it's starving for air. Most likely a bad idle air control valve. Battery wont hold charge is a separate issue. Get your charging system tested
take it back they have to replace it,they either have a 60-90 day warrenty also see if battery cables are tight.if you have a chrger see if battery holds a charge.
You may have a bad alternator... you can have it checked at any auto store for free... Also check your positive/negative wired connections...your connection to your positive cable that goes to your starter may need to be replaced, or your negative cable could be bad also.
check for battery voltage at the charge post on the alternator and at the 2 wire connect with the key on .if you have it then its a bad alternator. if you have a belt spinning the alternator.
