My horn stopped working on my 2001 oldsmobile silhouette. It made a funny noise before it went out. We changed the relay but that didn't do the trick. Any ideas?

The horn itself is dead , that funny noise was it's last breath. You can get a horn from an auto wrecker for just about nothing. It does not necesarilly have to be from the same vehicle , as long as it fits.

We have a plymouth silhouette van 2001 model. The heated seats have stopped working completely. Is it a fuse problem? If so, where is the fuse located?

if it is a fuse u would have a fuse compartment inside the vehicle under drivers side schinn pannel or one the kick panels or right where the door closes to the dash and there may be a location under the hood it could be a relay or worst case the heating elements went out in them

Have a 1992 Plymouth Grand Voyager Horn goes off at times on its own and steering feels funny and making noise like a clicking noise think may have heard clicking noise for awhile just didn’t know where it...

Your steering column is worn out inside... I had a ford truck that had a similar problem except that the cruise stopped working and the horn stopped working ... some of these parts can't be fixed.. they need to be replaced.....the bushings (spacers) inbetween all the moving parts get worn down and stuff starts touching other stuff and nothing seems to make any sense....

2001 olds silhouette non functioning alarm

red light? this is a factory alarm?? Is GM on the key fob? factory alarms dont have "motion sensors" and very few aftermarket alarms do. roll down the window and set the alarm, now open the door and see if it lights off.

1999 oldsmobile silhouette wont start by igition but self started

The radio and lights usually work when the battery is mostly dead. Check battery and cables to make sure you have a FULL contact. Also do the same with cables and starter. Most parts stores will check battery, altenator, and starter on bench test or in the vehicle for free or extremely cheap. Also you may want to check starter relay for current with an ohmmeter

Horn doesn't work

Do you hear a clicking noise in the car when horn is repeatably pressed? If so the horn itself is burned out, if you want to verify the horn problem go to the horn location and with a 12 volt test light (avail at any auto parts store) have someone press and hold the horn on, then probe the horn wire terminals and see if the test light lights.
