1993 GMC Rally/Vandura G2500 Style--IC 4.3 liter,6 cyl,automatic. Tranny slips in 3 rd gear and above.Replaced front and rear seal,still leaks.Will only move 25-30 miles ahour. Can"t find any identification name plate attached to the case exterior on passenger side ,just in front of where the tail shaft housing bolts to the main case.Everybody i talk or contact gives a differant tranny # which we need to get another one.I HOPE YOU CAN HELP and will be waiting to hear from you

try changing the transmission filter once they get clogged they will act like that.

1963 then yes a three speed is right but as for the build on this i couldnt help because although i am old enough we never had these vehicles in the UK when i was younger,have got a 1963 merc 280 four door saloon laying in the garden though if you want a real car and not an american
