I have a 2004 dodge ram 1500 with the 4.7 I have replaced the passenger side head lamp but can not get enough access to get at the driver side. Please help before I go at the front fender with a cutting torch.

first check the isolation switch near the window controls If it is off then only the drivers switch will work the windows . ON allows the windows to be used independently

rewire your amp power source to another circuit and recheck for problem

The wiring of the harness is parallel to the sides. hence you will need to trace the driverr side lamp connection backwards to the joining section of the line. Please check on the ground connection of the lamp assembly, remove and clean and reset after confirming that the groundis fine but the voltage does not reach on switch on of the park lamps. If this becomes difficult to trace just take a parallel wires from the passenger side lamp to be connected to the non working side. this will work fine. Please take care to insulate.Good day

put nut back on screw it flush with it get a bigger hammer

it sounds like one of the linkage arms has dropped off you need to gain access to the linkage to confirn and the linkage may pop back on

its likely to be either the lamp is out, the door switches are faulty, or the lamp switch is faulty...most likely the lamp switch as both doors aren't working. Give them a clean or a drop of WD40

Passenger side front of cylinder head below the alternator. Look for electric pigtail of alternator.
Total of 4 bolts, 2 of them 8mm and 2 10 mm.

If you have already replaced the passenger side switch and it still doesnt work its a good chance that there is a pinched wire in the door itself. However usually it wont work from the drivers side either. But I still suggest looking there first.

there is probly a relay on the door that is not recieving the signal. you can most likly just replace it and that should work.
