Remove the 2 mounting bolts holding the starter in place and position it to where you can remove the wires going to it keeping in mind the locations of the wiring. You may have to turn and weasel the starter out. If it's a 4wd truck, you'll have to remove the engine mount bolts and raise the engine a little to remove the starter.

Suddenly, the signals do not work whatsoever. Yet the hazards do. It''s not the fuse. 1995 GMC Jimmy.

Replace the flasher, this truck uses two flasher one for the hazards and one for the signals, check and replace the flasher and go from there, good luck.

1995 Gmc Jimmy Starting Problem

If the engine is using a carburetor, the top gasket maybe leaking evaporating the fuel in the bowl. Check or replace the solenoid switch on the starter body.

I have a 1995 gmc jimmy 4x4 vortec engine and can not get it to 3

If it's a manual transmission, it's the bushings under the gear shift that a beat out of it. If it's an automatic, check you fluid level and filter. It may not be able to build enough pressure in the tranny if the filter is clogged or isn't enough fluid.
