Tail lights don't work right on my 1995 gmc pick up all lights work in reverse no hazard lights no left turn signal right turn signal works right side brake light comes on when you turn on the cruise control when cruise control switch is on off no tail lights at all just head lights

did you check the fuses?

If so, then check the plug on the steering column....

There isn't a modulator on this trans as it is electronic

You can have first gear going forwrd but no reverse. It is possible. The low/ reverse clutch isn't needed to go forward.

Suggest you change hazard flasher 'can' first, then go to the hazard switch. I'm betting it's the flasher can.

replace the turn signal switch in the steering column

SOURCE: checked all fuses-good, swapped bulbs-good, hazard

Does the turn signals or hazards work in the rear?? Yes... it may be the brake switch or the turn signal switch (power goes from battery, to the brake switch then to the turn signal switch, then to the lights. No? .. again.. possibly turn signal switch or the wiring between cab and bed.
