My '96 Buick Regal shut off while sitting in drive thru at fastfood joint. My husband pushed it over to parking space and waited a couple minutes before trying to crank it and it started right back up. Then next day was driving down the road car shut off again. Pulled over to side of the road and waited about 5 - 10 mins and it started back up...what is going on?

SOURCE: i have a 1999 buick regal ls dying.

I found the problem. It was the crank position sensor. There was also a cracked vacuum hose connecting to the diaphragm on the fuel rail. Replaced both and my 92 Buick no longer dies. For the guy who's Buick was dying when using the turn signals - replace the crank position sensor. One of my symptoms of my Buick dying was when I used my turn signals. Use of turn signals places a varying load on the electrical system which messes up the crank posistion sensor if it is going bad.

SOURCE: wheel studs

The studs are pressed into place. You can remove them and replace them using a vise, and a couple sockets (one larger, and one smaller). You do need to remove the "wheel hub" from the vehicle to perform the repair.

Look under the dash by the parking brake and try to see if any wires are being moved or chafed by the parking brake linkages. That is what I have found in the past.
