94 nissan Ultima, won't start. Turns over, have headlights, but that's it. No horn, windows, radio, heater fan, nothing. Looks like I have spark and fuel. It just keeps turning over and won't start unless I spray gas or starter fluid in the breather it will start, but only unitil it burns it out of the sytem. Is there a relay or something i am missing that would cause it not to start????

Check for loose connections behind the dash or the fuse box for a blow fuses.

flat battery isnt a good sign
no driving power =engine check light on
battery terminals tight
got 12 volt everywhere its supposed to be

was old radio linked to security or immobilizer
recheck radio wiring

check starter,battery must have 12.5+V.

The security system does not disable the starter, it only disables fuel to the engine. In the fuse block under the hood, locate the STARTER relay. Place your hand on this relay and see if it clicks while someone else turns the key to start...if the relay is ok then the starter itself is faulty. Good luck, i hope this helps.

immobilsor has come on so only course of action is to call a specialist auto locksmith or the dealer to release the immobilisor ,have you lost the chip out of the key?? have a look and try the spare key

Mine did this. We replaced the battery but still nothing. I followed the cable that goes from the battery to the starter and shook it around a bit. It started up, but I also have an unrelated stalling problem.

lol, i think it is that your dimmer switch is all the way down or bad. as simple as it seems, that is really what it sounds like. try messing with it.

power loss.
any good car elect. tech find this pronto.
just takes a volt meter to find the voltage drop point.

top fails:
1: corroded fuse box on right front finder (under fuse box)
2: did you say it kills motor too. cant figure above.

what about heater fan, it uses tons of current.
as does HL followed by tails.

20amps, 15amps and 5amps respectively

you have resistance some where.
and load , kills the voltage .

for me.
i'd:
check battery voltage , when it dims out.
then of ok 12.5v is ok key on,not started.
then check voltages at a right fender , fuse panel
all points there, 12.5vdc , same as battery v.
if OK
then
check voltage at the fuse above right knee
with load full, hl, fan, brakes, just key on.

now you know what circuit is fail ing by now.
