hello, i just had the same problem. i have a 94 accord 4 cyl, and the rpm would sit at 500at normal temp. i cleaned the iacv the ficv. there is also a screw under the throttle body( i forgot what is is called, but you screw it back in), that seemed to help for my fluctuating idle problem. i recently changed my pcv valve and now my rpm sit at 1000. so i think that you need to change out your pcv valve. only 2.99 at autozone. hope you found this helpful

Your idle air control valve is probably bad. That's what causes a high-low-high idle on Honda vehicles.

It may be caused by a vacuum leak, make sure to check all your hose for cracks and/or hoses that may have popped off

First thing you have to do is check the coolant level. It is possibly very low on anti- freeze, or frozen up from the anti freeze not being strong enough.

it still sounds like timing,double check time

check the iac valve on the throttle body, have ur car scanned tomake sure
