Hi, I'm not sure these are related. The first is your throttle position sensor. This tells the engine how hard you are pushing on the accelerator. The second code is random misfire., which I've never seen caused by the TPS. That said, I would fix the TPS first. Check the wiring and connector for any issues. If the wiring looks good, I would replace it and calibrate the new sensor. If this doesn't clear up the code 300, please read my post on misfires for additional troubleshooting steps: http://www.fixya.com/cars/r6715318-causes_gasoline_engine_misfires . These are generic instructions.

Trouble Code: P0123

TP Sensor Circuit High Input
Possible Causes:

TP Sensor sweep TP Sensor ground circuit is open TP Sensor signal circuit is open or is shorted to VREF (5v) TP Sensor is damaged or has failed (an internal open circuit) Possible intermittent condition PCM has failed

Trouble Code: P0300

Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
Possible Causes:

Air leak in the intake manifold, or in the EGR or EVAP system Base engine mechanical fault that affects two or more cylinders Erratic or interrupted CKP or CMP Sensor signals Fuel delivery component fault that affects two or more cylinders (i.e., a contaminated, dirty or sticking fuel injector) Ignition system problem (coil or plug) in two or more cylinders Vehicle driven with low fuel pressure or while very low on fuel

Unhook the battery for a while to give the computer time to reset, maybe as much as 24 hours then try it again. Could be as simple as a bad seal on the gas cap.

Engine warning light on all the time

When the warning light is on, you should take the Jeep somewhere to get the computer scanned for trouble codes.

Check engine light came on... Code given is 05-03. I've checked the gas cap, turned the engine switch to on and off 3 times and nothing seems to clear it. Help!

there is no code P0503, so you need to double check what the code is, or get a code reader. you cant clear it without a scan tool. if you disconnect the battery it may clear, but its not a good idea, as you will lose any freeze frame data which would help a mechanic diagnose the problem.

I have a 2004 Jeep Wrangler, when the engines is running the engine light came on and stay on. Why is that ?

It could be as simple as a loose fitting gas cap.
Turn the key on and off 3 times, on the 3rd time leaving it on.
Depending on your system, if you have a digital odometer, an error code will be displayed.
If that doesnt happen, the engine light will start flashing. Start writing down how many times it flashes per interval. It may flash 3, then stop, then flash 4, then stop, and finally flashy just two times. This means it is number 342.
Get online and look up error codes for your vehicle and match it up.

1995 Jeep Wrangler 2.5L Fuel Pump/Check engine light

Could be one of several items...I'd check the fuel pump relay, auto shutdown relay and the ignition switch itself. I'd bet on it being one of those relays but, we all have been fooled at least once!!! I'd also make sure that body and engine grounding is good and clean. Relays can't work properly without a good ground.

2002 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 When Driving the Engine Dies

Put the key in the ignition and turn it on and off (3) times without starting the jeep, leaving it in the on position count the (1) flashing indicator Light, Eg: (5) flashes, Then there will be a pause, then it may flash (3) times, this is a code #53. Keep your Eye on them and write them down. If you should miss (1) Repeat as many times as needed, Info: A #55 means there are no codes!!

Jeep Wrangler 2001 No heat or Temperature on gauge

see i you have any codes may be a temp sensor if you dont have a code reader you can still get the codes by putting key in ignition turning it on but not starting it 3 times after the third time the engine light will blink a series of times like morse code. be perpared to jot down the number of blinks the ligh gives of there should be a slight paulse between codes, there also is usually a start and end code thsi may take a few time to get it ..once you have the numbers you can google the code and find the problem googleex (Jeep trouble code 55) you can use this trick on any chrysler car from 80 on up possibly earlier.
