Is there an ac relay on a 2013 ram 6.7 cummins. my ac stop blowing cold air and i cant figure out why

Check to see if the AC clutch is engaged and turning the AC unit. If it isn't, check the freon pressures. Low freon will trip a pressure switch and prevent the clutch from engaging. This is a more common issue, some freon leaks our over time at the shaft seal.

2012 elantra gls air conditioning electrical cirquit. clutch not getting signal to turn on

By pass clutch signal by appling +12vdc to A/C clutch directly - check for proper suction side pressure with A/C gauge connected to suction side of compressor - if pressure is low clutch will not be energized do to low pressure cutout switch. Add freon or 134A to bring up suction side pressure. https://www.6ya.com/callphilipforhelp

My a/c isnt working on my 2013 chevy cruz, fuses are good, clutch isnt engaging

Probably low freon pressure. There is a pressure switch that does not allow the clutch to engage if the pressure is too low. This prevents damage to the compressor. Check freon level.

2007 nissan maxima, where is air conditioning low pressure switch ?

There is no low pressure switch, but if you mean the refrigerant pressure sensor, you can find it attached to the condenser or at the liquid tank on the condenser. If the pressure drops to 65 psi only and then the clutch automatically opens, there could be several reasons. Insufficient refrigerant, faulty pressure sensor, weak ac compressor, among other things. A reading of both the low and high side pressures will be helpful in eliminating possible causes.

Hi my name is leo and I have a 2002 jeep Cherokee Laredo a/c clutch will engage

Faulty low pressure switch , Google it to see how to replace, or you an unlucky it and run a jumper wire between the terminals/ But beware- bypassing the low pressure switch can ruin the compressor if it gets low on freon.

How jetta compressor clutch work

Ac compressor clutches get power from a relay via pressure switches.
If the system is low on freon, the low pressure switch prevents the ac clutch from engaging.
The clutch is a magnet.

CLUTCH COIL IS OPEN.IF REFRIGERANT LEVEL LOW YOU MAY NEED MORE REFRIGERANT.YOU NEED AT LEAST 28 PSI ON LOW SIDE AND 200 - 220 PSI ON HIGH SIDE.IF ALL IS GOOD STILL NO AC PROBLEM COULD BE A FAULTY AC CLUTCH CYCLING PRESSURE SWITCH.

DON'T HAVE POWER IN COMPRESSOR

Check your fuse for the A/C. If it is okay then you need to locate the low pressure cutout switch and temporarily put a jumper in the connector. If the clutch kicks in, then you need to check the Freon pressure on the oblong black tank or hose directly adjacent to this tank.

Do not run the compressor very long with the bypass.connected or the compressor can burn up. However the compressor must turn to build pressure from the remaining Freon.

If you are lucky the Freon will only need to be topped off. This means the Low pressure switch did its job of preventing damage. Add Freon with a Sealer and you may close the leak that let out the Freon. Some of the gauges are not expensive, and some cans have a one-time use gauge on them.

The low pressure switch can also get weak and shut your system off early. Its a screw off-screw on part and easy to replace. Then if your compressor is noisy after working on this you may need an oil charge. That would mean you had a substantial leak and you lost the lubricant for the compressor. But you may be lucky and get by just by adding Freon.

I wanted to be informative in case the easy steps do not work for you so you can try several things. Good Luck on your repair.

AC does not work, clutch will not engage

Most likely low or out of freon. There is a low pressure cut-out switch that open's when low on freon to prevent damage to compressor.

Air Conditioniong not working

U may be low in Freon gas.
When Freon is low there's low pressure switch that will prevent A/C compressor clutch from engaging to protect it from failure.
So, first check Freon pressure & any leaks form lines & hoses fittings.
Even if the fan is working, that doesn’t indicate proper compressor OP'S.
Look at the compressor front side you'll see the clutch stationary while the AFT pulley moving.

Then put air-condition compressor switch to ON (Engage),
You should see the clutch engage & start rotate,
If NOT, this is very clear indication u r low in Freon.
