93 4runner rear electric window stopped working

Is there a fuse a a reset switch for the rear window. We just bought the
4runner and it worked for one day now the rear window won't work with the key or button. I was working near the battery but I can't figure why that would have only affected the rear window

I went back and turned on the rear window wiper and then off agian and now it works. Thanks for the help

My problem is very similar but it has nothing to do with the wiper, my motor sounds like it's working and to some extent helps the rear window up and down but i have to help it quite a bit to get the window moving, is it the motor going out or something else???

the winder motor may have failed. in this case DO NOT buy a replacement, they are expenssive. replace the rear motor with the motor from the rear left electric window. they are identicle but cheaper for some strange reason.

Check the window shield wiper in the right position, you must put it into the clamp.

BMW rear left hand side tail light and flasher not working also drivers window not working

The electric window could either be the fuse, switch, or window regulator motor at fault..Sometimes the window motor electric plug can vibrate loose or become loose from door slamming..Also the switch can become loose as well or contamination if you are lucky..You will have to remove door panel to inspect these components..and fuse panel..The light could be a faulty bulb..Check and replace bulb..before involving the signal indicator switch lever...If bulb is at fault go ahead and change bulbs at both rear sides..Do not try to repair signal switch because of air bag..If you can hold down on the turn signal switch and it works the switch is at fault...

1993 Mercury Sable Wagon, 3.0 with several electrical problems.

Sounds to me like a switch problem The master window switch should be checked. Also check the door switches to see if they are getting voltage. Could also be bad window motors. Tests need to be done. Is there power to the power seat switch?

Rear windows won't go down

You also have Circuit Breakers for your windows, Or your Master Switch ,You can Test the Driver Control Switch or the rear switches by removing the Switches and using the connector Plug and a Jump wire try jumping accross the wires,if they go up or down you could have a Bad Switch,if nothing moves more than likely your Window Motor is bad. BUT first CHECK your Circuit Breakers ,It could be Labeled as accessery Relay or circuit Breaker.

All 4 of my power windows stopped working, and i can't find anything about a power window fuse in my manual

Power window usually don't have a fuse but an automatically resetting breaker. If all four windows stopped working at the same time check the body control module that is what manages the power windows. Good luck.

I have a 2002 4-door Envoy extended length. Three years ago the rear HVAC stopped working; 6 months ago the left rear electric window stopped working; yesterday the right rear electric window stopped...

I doubt there is a common cause. The rear HVAC needs to be diagnosed by a HVAC technician. The electric windows problem is probably a bad motor in the door. Do the rear windows work from the driver's controls? If they do, then it is the window switch that is faulty.

I have a window problem first my passenger window(electric) started to stick then stopped working all together. then a week later my rear vent window stopped working then a month after that the other rear...

there are two circuit breaks for the windows... Chrysler calls them PTC's
additionally, the PTC's get their power from fuse #23 in the fuse box under the hood

Generally the PTC's do not fail, however, if a window is "binding" then that will cause the breaker to work extra hard and in the end will cause premature failure and/or the fuse to "blow"

Therefore check circuit breaker#8 and #9

Mercedes 1987 190 D Turbo

The K relay or headlight relay goes bad in these and control all the lights and the bulb out indicator. It should be in the fuse box or under the screwed down cover connected to the fuse box.
The starter not working is the neutral safety switch on the transmission, when it goes bad cannot be started. It is a sefty feature to allow car not to be started in anything but park or neutral.
The electric windows maybe old dirty switches, remove the center console wood and move the good switch around and see if they work.

Rear wiper

It is the power window relay for feeding power to all the windows except the drivers. If the drivers works the other three don't it is time to replace the power window relay.

Another quick test is to see at each window if the switch works then try it at the driver master switches for each window. If you notice a difference then it is either the power window relay or the master switch.

You can post further feedback based on what you find so I can pinpoint exactly. If all windows are not working then it is the 30a power fuse
