Follow the negative cable from the battery to where it bolts to the engine or frame, unbolt it and clean the area with a wire brush or sandpaper, then reconnect the cable. A bad ground can cause this issue.
Check battery cables at battery may be loose or corroded don't disconnect unless memory is maintained always remove neg first and don't reconnect until pos is connected and tight
key code lock out usually happens when you have entered the wrong code too many times leaving the battery connected should allow the timer to run down for 30 mins so you can try again, it is cumulative though so the more you get it wrong the longer you have to wait. make sure battery is fully charged first.
to reset the computer you must disconect the negative battery cable then turn on the headlight switch with the cable disconected for 5 mins.
after 5 mins turn the headlight switch OFF first then reconnect the battery cable. :) PLEASE RATE MY ANSWER I AM NEW HERE.
dear friend-when your vehicle wont rev it means that it went into limp mode and by disconnecting the battery you reset the ecu and will appear ok till the faulty sensor comes up again, have a dianostic test carried out to sole, previble when in limp mode.
make sure you disconect the battery or the computer still reads that the circuit is open and will fry a perfectly good coil. I had the same issue and had to do a second time. Disconected the battery and now no problems.
try disconecting the battery leave for 5minutes then reconnect lock and unlock the doors should then start if this dosn't work disconect battery again turn ignition on [normal running position ] then re connect battery after 5mins one of these options normally work Steve
