Have you ck=hecked the crankshaft posisition sensor.if its bad the coil pack wont fire.
I have personally seen a rash of coil pack problems lately. My brother needed one for his pickup. He put a new one on, and it ran well for a week. He had to replace it again - this time he got one from the dealer. It would not surprise me to hear that you had more than two go bad, but I would investigate the fuel pressure and as bogrady1123 says the crankshaft position sensor. Another thing you can try is (if your car would idle with the old coil pack) put it back on and see what happens.

My focus is spuddering and is not running smooth. I've changed the fuel filter and the spark plug wires but still missing. The spark plugs look good, #2 looked less worn-out. Cheap dianostics machine said #2 is missfiring and bad crank sensor. Would replacing the sensor be the solution, if so please tell me how hard it would be.
