have you checked for a broken timing belt /chain
what about faulty cam shaft position sensors
it would be a champion idea to run the fault codes before wasting money changing what is not faulty
your problem may not be electrical at all... have you done fuel
pressure test ? simple things like a blocked fuel filter or pick up, will be trouble starting. also check fuel pressure regulator.
I think there is a wireing harness running from the passanger side front of the engine accross to the inner guard then to the firewall, try bending slightly in diffrent spots while someone is cranking the motor. There is a wire in there that brakes & will stop it running. It happened to me & the mtor was cutting in & out but managed to keep it running till I got to wrk but once turned off that was the end of it. Mine is a 99 rodeo with 6VD1 3.2 litre engine
not sure what size motor you have? is it getting fuel? have you checked the fuses? if so there is a cam sensor that can cause a no start on the 4 cyl the 3.0 and the 3.3. hope this helps
If all the coils are giving spark now, then you moat likely have gas fouled plugs now,so change them out with new ones, all 8 of them.If you do not have spark on all plug wires, pull the timing belt cover, and align the cam shaft and the cam,to see if the belt has jumped. If It hasn`t,replace the crankshaft sensor.
