I just put performance pulstar spark plugs and wires in about a month or 2 ago and ever since my light comes on and off my mechanic said the readout was showing a misfire. They tightened the spark plugs cleared the code no more than 10 minutes later it came right back on he then tells me it could be my dual cone cold air intake but the light didnt come on till after i put the plugs in. My other mechanic believes it could be my fuel injector or gas cap. Changed the gas cap light still come on and off at intervals. Turns off during full tank 3/4 tank 1/2 tank and 1/4 tank. Tried using fuel injector cleaners still comes on and off. Not sure what the problem is if anyones got the answer please let me know i love the car but this light is just pissing me offI just put performance pulstar spark plugs and wires in about a month or 2 ago and ever since my light comes on and off my mechanic said the readout was showing a misfire. You need to go to an electronic specialist or you can buy one of the scanners that clears the codes for you from advanced auto or autozone or some place like that.

I suggest finding a good mechanic that will properly diagnose your issue instead of you just replacing undeeded parts. You might have a bad vent valve, or could be a cracked vacuum line.
po135 is o2 sencer on drivers side. will be the first one. po300 is random/multiple misfire.po404 is a egr code. po102 mass air flow circuit low input. po440 evap emission control system malfunction
HI, The DTC set PO102 is for your MAF (mass air flow) sensor. this sensors measures the air moving past it my heating a fine wire much like one inside a light bulb. Even cleaning these will not get the contaminates off. That little wire gets very hot and if dirt gets on it it will bake to it then this throws off its readings for your computer. If you checked and you have your 5 volt reference for this sensor the only other thing is to replace it. You can get re-manufactured one now at any major parts store. Good luck
You can have the codes checked at an Auto Zone parts store for free and they will tell you what the codes is.The code will give you and idea of what could be causing the light to come on.Hope this helps.Good luck.
Most faultcodes don't disappear automaticly, the have to be 'reset' manually after repairing. It sounds like the code didn't get erased after replacing the MAF. You could try to disconnect the battery for 10 minutes (disconnect and reconnect the negative (-) pole), which should erase the code.
Whenever the engine light still comes back on after that, there probably still is some (other) problem ...
code PO102 is mass air flow sensor circuit low frequency condition.what it is saying.MAF sensor element hot wire contaminated or sensor failed.MAF sensor signal shorted to ground or grounded circuit problem.MAF sensor wiring routed close to ignition wires generator solenoids or electric motors.PCM has failed.
Code p0102, on either the 3.4 or 3.8 (3800) v6 engine is a problem in the Mass Air Flow sensor (MAF). If any work has been done to it just prior to this code, then you need to make sure the air cleaner, duct work, breather tubes, etc. are properly connected and not loose. If that is OK, then may have a bad, or dirty sensor. Tech JK
